My Story

The family faces hardship as the husband, a lorry load man, is a heavy drinker and provides little support. Tragedy struck when their second child, Swetha, died suddenly four years ago, suspected of a snake bite. This fueled the father's drinking habit further. Keerthiga, their third child, was saved from infanticide with the help of local authorities, but later died in a road accident three years ago. Despite their losses, the IGP social worker intervened, securing support for Rithika and providing emotional and material assistance to the grieving mother. With IGP’s support, the father has stopped drinking and is now involved in caring for the family. The IGP also provided a cow loan and monthly food grains to support the family, ensuring Rithika's well-being and education.
