My Story

Sudhakar and Sujana have a daughter named Siri, much to the disappointment of Sudhakar's family who were hoping for a boy heir. Sudhakar starts neglecting Siri, refusing her basic comforts and education, and plans to make her work as a laborer when she grows up. Despite this, Siri enjoys school where she receives love and attention from teachers and classmates. However, her irregular attendance due to forced labor raises concerns among teachers. Eventually, Sudhakar's family decides to marry Siri off at a young age, causing her distress. Upon learning of Siri's situation, teachers and IGP social worker intervene, convincing Sudhakar's family of the importance of Siri's education and the legal consequences of child marriage. Reluctantly, Sudhakar agrees to let Siri continue her schooling.
