My Story

Anthony Ivanka's upbringing was marred by her father's desire for a male heir, leading to gender-based discrimination and mistreatment at home. The family’s misfortune and financial struggles, exacerbated by the father’s angst about the birth of a daughter, was blamed squarely on Ivanka, and as a result she was regularly subjected to physical and emotional abuse from her father. Denied the opportunity for education, she was consigned to manual labor alongside her mother, further reinforcing her sense of neglect and despair.

However, a glimmer of hope emerged when a concerned relative sought help from a social organization; an IGP social worker intervened, confronting Ivanka's father about his mistreatment and the importance of her well-being. Despite the initial resistance, the threat of legal action compelled him to reconsider, eventually agreeing to allow Ivanka to attend school.

With the support of the community and the IGP social workers, Ivanka's life has taken a positive turn. She is encouraged to pursue her education, fostering dreams of a brighter future beyond the confines of her previous hardships. Through ongoing care and guidance, she has begun to heal from the trauma of her past and embrace newfound opportunities for growth and empowerment.
